This blog is dedicated to my daughter and husband. They are my number one priority and my biggest supporters. As cliché as it sounds, I couldn’t imagine life without them.
Since I became pregnant, a whole new world has opened up to me. I go to new places, I’ve been meeting new people and I’ve been learning so many new things. I hope to use this outlet to document this very different side of Vegas and of me: a bigger, better side.
I also hope this blog is enjoyable for you. My goal is to have it chocked-full of things you’ll find interesting and more importantly useful.
Then when my daughter is older, she’ll be able to look back and see where she came from and where she has been. Although, I’m sure at some point in her life she’ll be begging me to take it down out of sheer embarrassment.
I have lived in Las Vegas almost all my life. I graduated from UNLV with a degree in journalism in the Fall of 2009. I’ve done some freelance PR and journalism work and also bartended on the Strip for several years. I decided to put my career aspirations on hold and become a stay at home mom when my husband and I found out the big news.
It took a little while for me to get used to, but now I really appreciate not having to work. I especially appreciate it when I see my friends having to go back just a few short months after giving birth. I am so lucky and I can’t believe I ever complained to my husband about being bored or not living up to my potential.
This has been and will continue to be such a great adventure.
